What is Askmeety?

Askmeety is a macOS application that automatically generates meeting notes, transcripts, and summaries entirely on-device. It captures system audio and screen context locally, ensuring that no meeting data ever leaves your Mac. The app works with popular video conferencing tools and in-person meetings, providing a private alternative to cloud-based note-taking services.

How to use Askmeety?

Download and install Askmeety on your Mac (macOS 14+ with Apple Silicon). Open the app and join your meeting as usual—no bots or invites needed. Click the record button in the menu bar to start capturing audio and screen. After the meeting, Askmeety automatically generates a transcript, summary, and next steps. You can search across all meetings, ask Meety questions, and export notes to Markdown, PDF, Notion, or Obsidian.
