Recap Raven is a Discord bot designed for tabletop RPG groups, especially Dungeons & Dragons players. It records voice sessions, transcribes them, and automatically generates player-safe recaps, GM-only notes, and session analytics. It also builds a searchable campaign memory that players can query directly in Discord, with answers cited from the transcript.
How to use Recap Raven?
- Invite the Recap Raven bot to your Discord server, then start a session in a voice channel with the /session start command. Play your game normally; the bot records each speaker on a separate track. When the session ends, run /session stop and the bot processes the audio, deletes it after transcription, and posts a player-safe recap to your channel. Use /ask or /askprivate commands to query campaign memory.
