What is Fathom?

Fathom is an AI-powered meeting assistant that automatically records, transcribes, and summarizes video calls from platforms like Zoom, Google Meet, and Microsoft Teams. It helps users stay focused on conversations by eliminating the need for manual note-taking, and provides instant AI summaries, action items, and searchable transcripts. Fathom integrates with popular tools like Slack, Salesforce, HubSpot, and Asana to sync meeting insights directly into existing workflows.

How to use Fathom?

To use Fathom, sign up for a free account and connect it to your preferred meeting platform (Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams). During a call, Fathom automatically joins as a participant (or uses bot-free capture on Mac) to record and transcribe the conversation. After the meeting, you receive an AI-generated summary, action items, and a searchable transcript. You can then use features like Ask Fathom to query past conversations, create clips and playlists, and sync insights to your CRM or productivity tools.
