What is Whisperly?
Whisperly is a Mac app that converts voice into clean, ready-to-send text. It uses AI to clean up dictation, removing filler words and errors, and can translate between ~99 languages. The app works in any Mac application where you can type, pasting the cleaned text at your cursor.
How to use Whisperly?
- Download the app for free from the website, install it on your Mac, and grant two one-time permissions: Microphone and Accessibility. Whisperly lives in your menu bar. Tap the default shortcut (⌥ Space) to start dictation, speak, then tap again to stop. The cleaned text appears at your cursor in the focused app. You can also use push-to-talk by holding the Option key. Switch between Raw, Clean-up, or Translate modes in the app panel.
