What is Wendy?

Wendy is a development platform for physical AI that connects development, deployment, and improvement of robotics and edge applications. It centers on WendyOS, a purpose-built open-source Linux distribution for edge devices, plus developer tools like the Wendy CLI, VS Code extension, simulator, and cloud fleet management. Wendy also offers Wendy Box, a portable full-color and thermal fire-detection kit. It supports hardware including NVIDIA Jetson, Raspberry Pi, Dragonwing, x86_64, and Apple Silicon.

How to use Wendy?

Start with the hardware you have: add Wendy Agent on Linux or Apple Silicon Mac, or run WendyOS on a supported edge device. Connect sensors, develop and simulate your application (e.g., with MuJoCo), then deploy to real devices using the Wendy CLI's one-command build and deploy.
