What is Speko?
Speko is a hosted, provider-neutral data plane for speech-to-text, LLM, and text-to-speech models. It benchmarks models language by language and routes requests to the best-performing provider. It offers a unified API with typed contracts and managed routing, plus an open-source Gateway for LiveKit and Pipecat.
How to use Speko?
- Sign up for an API key, then use the hosted Router via its public OpenAPI and AsyncAPI contracts. For LiveKit or Pipecat, install the native Gateway integration and configure STT, LLM, and TTS with credential_source 'auto'. Alternatively, add the Speko MCP server to Claude or Cursor for easy access.
