What is Nymos?

nymos is a macOS application that uses AI to rename files in bulk by reading the content of documents, invoices, photos, PDFs, and more. It suggests new filenames based on the file's content, and the user approves each suggestion before any rename happens. The app supports over 57 file types, includes built-in OCR for scans, and offers templates for consistent naming.

How to use Nymos?

Download and install nymos for macOS. Drop files or folders into the app, and it will analyze the content and suggest new names. Review the suggestions, edit them inline if needed, and approve them individually or in batch. You can also set up a watch folder to automatically analyze new arrivals and receive suggestions for review.
