What is Movie Maker Edit?

Movie Maker Edit is a video editing and auto-production tool that turns a folder of existing clips into one finished, exported movie. It comes in two editions: a free Web Edition that runs in any modern browser, and a paid Pro Desktop Edition for Windows that uses native FFmpeg and hardware encoding for faster, longer exports. It works with clips from any source, including AI generators like Grok Imagine and Gemini Veo, phones, or camcorders, and requires no editing background.

How to use Movie Maker Edit?

Point the app at the folder containing your clips and press Autoproduce; it reads every clip, orders them, sets transitions, renders the film, levels the sound and reports each stage. You can also edit manually: import clips in virtually any format, trim with resealed cuts, set blur or hard cut transitions, keep, replace or mix the soundtrack, choose resolution and aspect ratio, preview, and export a single MP4 or MOV. Optionally add your own xAI or Google API key to unlock five AI tools such as AI clip review, movie review, narration, spoken voice and captions.
