What is GalacTex?

GalacTex is a Chrome extension that adds the power of large-language models (LLMs) to Overleaf, the online LaTeX editor. It works through a Chrome extension and a self-hosted server running the Galactica LLM. The extension originated from GPT4Overleaf and LeafLLM projects.

How to use GalacTex?

First, install the GalacTex-Server by following the instructions in its repository. Then configure the plugin by clicking the plugin button in the Chrome toolbar, inserting the server endpoint, and choosing which tools to enable. You can tune generation parameters from the plugin's popup. Use the auto-complete tool by pressing Alt+C, or select text and press Alt+Shift+C to auto-complete the selection.
