What is AI Grammar Checker?

AI Grammar Checker is a completely free and open-source Chrome browser extension for intelligent grammar checking. It uses AI technology to check complete sentences rather than individual words, providing more accurate grammar correction suggestions. The extension defaults to using the built-in Gemini Nano model in Chrome 138 and above, and can also switch to a local Llama server to ensure data security.

How to use AI Grammar Checker?

1. Install the AI Grammar Checker extension from the Chrome Web Store.
2. After installation, select the text you want to check in the browser.
3. Click the extension icon or use the shortcut key to trigger the grammar check.
4. Review the grammar correction suggestions provided by AI and apply them.
5. If you need customization, you can switch the AI model in settings (Gemini Nano or local Llama server).
