What is InterSub?

InterSub is a browser extension for Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Firefox designed for language learning. It provides interactive dual subtitles and instant word translations on popular streaming and educational platforms like YouTube, Netflix, Prime Video, Udemy, Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, and TED. The extension supports over 30 languages, including right-to-left (RTL) languages, and integrates with mobile apps and Telegram bots for vocabulary practice.

How to use InterSub?

Install the InterSub extension from the website or your browser's extension marketplace. Once installed, watch videos on supported platforms and hover over any word in the subtitles to get an AI-generated instant definition and context translation. Words you look up are automatically saved to your personal Wordbook, which you can review in the InterSub Dashboard. You can also use the Remote Control feature by scanning a QR code to look up words from your mobile device during playback.
