What is getdesign?

getdesign is a design system extractor that opens a public website in a real browser, reads its actual CSS, and captures the rendered page. It produces a downloadable design.md describing the site's colors, typography, spacing, and components, which can be used as a style guide or handed to a coding agent. It is available across five surfaces: a web dashboard, HTTP API, CLI, TypeScript SDK, and a portable Skill for coding agents.

How to use getdesign?

Sign in to the dashboard at dashboard.getdesign.app and save your Daytona and OpenAI provider keys in Account. Paste a public website URL into the Agent and run the extraction; getdesign reads CSS tokens, captures the page in a browser, and generates a design document you can download. You can also explore cached example runs without provider keys, or use the API, CLI (bunx @getdesign/cli), SDK (bun add @getdesign/sdk), or install the Skill (npx skills add MohtashamMurshid/getdesign) to run inside Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor.
