What is Friends & Fables?

Friends & Fables is the world's first generative tabletop roleplaying game (GTTRPG) inspired by DnD 5e. It provides tools to build worlds with custom homebrew NPCs, monsters, items, and spells, then play through them in a 5e campaign with an AI game master, solo or with friends. The AI campaign engine tracks stats, takes notes, and creates new content automatically, making TTRPGs accessible and convenient.

Start by creating an account and choosing a free tier. Explore thousands of player-made worlds or use the world building tools to craft your own. Invite friends to join your campaign (up to 6 players) and play asynchronously or in real-time. The AI Game Master, Franz, narrates and adapts to your choices, with options for text-to-speech and tactical combat.
