What is Charios?

Charios is an AI-powered 2D game character animation tool that runs entirely in the browser. It automatically detects alpha islands in character images to create layers, then lets you rig them with joint magnets and live deformation preview. It includes a library of mocap-ready animations and supports export to Unity, Godot, and Unreal.

How to use Charios?

Open the editor in your browser, drop a PNG of your character, and Charios auto-detects layers. Drag layers near joints to snap them to bones, then use the animation library or import your own .bvh/.fbx mocap. Play-test with keyboard controls and export to your preferred engine.
