What is Adoption Layer?

Adoption Layer is an AI-powered digital adoption platform (DAP) that reads the live interface of web applications and guides users step-by-step toward completing tasks. It can be deployed as a browser extension across SaaS and internal tools, or embedded into your own product with a single script tag. It replaces scripted tours and help-center detours with real-time, in-app guidance.

How to use Adoption Layer?

To use Adoption Layer, you can either install the browser extension for your team's apps or embed a script tag in your own product. Then, configure proactive hints with conditional triggers (e.g., page URL, element visibility, time on page) to nudge users before they get stuck. Users can ask questions in natural language, and the AI highlights the next element to interact with. Optionally, upload help articles or FAQs to enhance guidance. Monitor actionable insights to identify and fix repetitive frictions.
